Growing Redevelopment

We provide full board accommodation and a full activity programme for around 25 schools a year. Redeveloping our Growing areas would enable us to provide healthier home-grown produce for them. We would also include this in our educational programme to help children learn to eat well, along with exercising in the country and enjoying a healthier and more active outdoor lifestyle.

Why they need our service

We promote the development of natural produce and aim to provide home grown food for children and young people who stay with us whenever possible, including fresh eggs, salad and vegetables. However the animal and growing areas need attention, including new fencing, upkeep of the poly tunnels, and our dilapidated garage needs replacing for storing tools.

Plan and expected results

This project would enable us to effectively develop our allotment and animal area's to assist us in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and young people who stay with us, and enable us to become more sustainable by providing our own food and increasing our revenue potential from the sale of surplus produce.
