Stockdales is a charity based in Manchester dedicated to improving life for adults and children with learning and physical disabilities.We're a caring, committed team of people, always growing and changing to meet the developing needs of the people we work with. We love what we do; we think there's no greater reward than the satisfaction of seeing people enjoy fulfilling lives with our support.
Why the community needs usWe work in partnership with many community groups so we can deliver our services across the borough of Trafford, helping to spread the word about disability positively. Our services are a lifeline not only to people with disabilities but also to those closest to them too. Through our actitivities we help people with disabilities to become more independent. Stockdales is a significant employer locally and also offers a wide range of volunteering and student placement opportunities.
Our impact on the communityStockdales is lucky to be able to rely upon an exceptional team of experienced people which includes a board of trustees, senior team, staff and volunteers. Each year our residential and day services reach over 200 people with disabilities and their families and carers.
