We have a long-established commitment to accepting and valuing people with a range of different challenges including learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues, exclusion from school or work, recovery from addiction and caring responsibilities. Many but not all beneficiaries also like animals and enjoy being outdoors.
Plan and expected results The overall aim of the project is to radically improve the life skills and employment chances of the beneficiaries and promote community pride and belonging. We aim to motivate people who have been excluded to become active members of their community by choosing to visit, learn, train, or volunteer. Improved life skills, help individuals develop the confidence and self-esteem needed to face everyday challenges, understand others, develop a sense of belonging, interact socially and work collect
