Affordable counselling for self referring adults & training in counselling to diploma level

To be a life changing & pioneering catalyst for growth and recovery in the lives of all who encounter Willows, by providing an integrative & wholistic approach to the needs of individuals, families & communities, through creative & caring services. The restoration of psychological, emotional, spiritual & physical health by the provision of counselling, training, information, and advice to those seeking recovery, along with organisations, groups and churches seeking to support their recovery.

Why the community needs us

We provide accessible, affordable counselling for adults, including those in recovery from trauma, abuse & domestic violence. Our Outreach Projects are supported by the Community Foundation for Wiltshire and Swindon & Zurich Community Foundation. We are committed to collaborative action within the voluntary sector and provide training. We are actively involved in Voluntary Action Swindon & provide opportunities for volunteers, such as people returning to work, & student placements.

Our impact on the community

We actively seek feedback from clients, as well as from referring individuals & agencies, & this confirms that Willows plays a valuable part in supporting recovery from a range of psychological & mental health challenges. The rapid rise in the number of new cases, year on year, also suggests that we are recognised as a valuable resource in the community, alongside other sources of support. Our goal is to make excellent, professional, affordable services available to those most in need of such.

Volunteers needed

Willows welcomes part-time volunteers, for half a day a week or more. Current opportunities are for welcoming visitors at reception; helping keep our lovely building clean and tidy; assisting staff with admin tasks. Why not join our friendly team?
