The Nugent family have personal experience of Eating disorders through living with their youngest son Laurence, who had an eating disorder, and caring for their son; through this personal experience and unfortunately the untimely death of their son due to an eating disorder, they felt it important to set up a charity to educate and inform members of the public and healthcare providers so that they have a greater understanding of the impact an eating disorder has on sufferers and their families
