We aim to build community social cohesion by recruiting local volunteers, diminish anti social behaviour and improve low levels of achievement. We seek to improve community facilities that are currently lacking in an area of significant disadvantage.
We aim to provide affordable access for all to good quality football facilities and equipment. Currently we are based at Northampton Academy and we aim to build our own clubhouse and community centre for long term sustainability.
Why the community needs usWe provide affordable access to amateur football facilities and accredited training for ten football teams mainly youth.
More children are taken into local authority care from Thorplands than from any other area and we want to help by making life more enjoyable, healthier and purposeful for young people and families.
We are committed to keeping our weekly player's subscription charge very modest so that everyone can join the club, particularly those from low income and unwaged families.
