Timebanking is a wonderful tool for helping to motivate people and enable them to gain skills and confidence and to build stronger and more active communities. Through exchanges, projects, groups, partnerships, learning opportunities and events, people become involved in local activities and then go on to help others in many different ways. Over 90% of our active members are not in employment and many have mental or physical health issues or disabilities and live in social housing.
Why the community needs usOur innovative approach and use of timebanking principles of exchange and reciprocity has a huge effect in helping to empower people and build community cohesion in disadvantaged areas.
