Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre mission is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for families with children under 5 to play, learn and interact. We do this through daily play sessions and by providing toys, which don't cost the Earth to borrow.

Why the community needs us
We support children under 5 to learn and develop - Promote bonding and attachment between children and carers - Reduce isolation and help families to develop supportive social networks - Promote health and well-being - Enable access to our services from all sections of the community - Partner with other organisations to offer play activities at community events - Provide volunteering opportunities - Represent the aims and interests of our members.

Our impact on the community
All our work is child centred, supportive, fun, sustainable for our organisation and the planet, community based and educational.

Volunteers needed

We are looking for a variety of volunteers to help us plan our fundraising events and to support with grant writing. We are also looking for general volunteers to help with the day to day running of our play sessions and toy library. If you loving cleaning and organising, this is the role for you!
