Whitley Bay Big Local is a community-led initiative that enables all who live or work in the Big Local area to get together to improve the community and make the town a place to be proud of. The project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and has been running since 2014.

Our impact on the communityWBBL's aim is to build a growing sense of community and assist people, developing skills and confidence so they can continue to identify and respond to needs in future. This in turn will make Whitley Bay a better place to live.
