The Wilberforce Trust helps people with sight and hearing loss in our local community in York and North Yorkshire through our Yorsensory service which provides help and advice to keep you independent. Club Wilber is there for our younger people who have sight loss, their siblings and family providing a range of activities, networking and support to make a real difference to our families. We also provide extra care housing for people with sight loss and other disabilities, including learning disabilities, all aimed at maximising independence. Our brand new Living&Learning Zone is an accessible community facility with a range of activities and courses for people with disabilities.

Why the community needs us
We are the only organisation in York providing direct services to those with multiple disabilities including sight loss

Our impact on the community
We can provide rehabilitation services and help people with sight and hearing loss to retain as much sight and hearing as possible and remain as independent as possible enjoying quality of life.
