If you care about nature, people, children and communities, you've found the right Local Giving page! Wild Elements is a grass roots, not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to getting people outdoors and connecting them to nature, improving their lives, opportunities and aspirations. We promote nature to enrich human life and facilitate personal development, and focus much of our work towards children, families, people and communities most in need. Since March 2013 to 31 December 2019, we have connected 33,547 children and 20,104 adults with nature, held a minimum of 1,679 nature connection events and helped people obtain almost 300 qualifications over 188 training programmes and helped people into work and higher education. We have delivered 489 outdoor education programmes to primary and secondary schools, 279 of these in 2018 and 2019! Am wybodaeth yng Nghymreag, ewch i www.elfennaugwyllt.org.uk. Our impact on the communityWe are hugely pleased with our impact! Between 2013 and 2019, Wild Elements connected over 53,651 people with nature through our events and activities. Volunteers and people undertaking training with us have increased their skills, improved their lives, built long-lasting friendships and entered college, university, employment, further training and volunteering. Our over 16s training programme surveys show 100% increased their skills, well-being, confidence, job prospects and teamworking skills.
