Saving the lives of unwanted and stray cats and kittens and finding them loving homes

Saving lives is important. The furry lives we save go on to provide love and enjoyment to people of all ages and backgrounds. We rescue, neuter and find loving homes for many cats each year, turning them from abandoned and unwanted strays into much loved pets. No cat is ever put to sleep simply because it is not wanted. We love every cat and give each one the chance of a happy and caring home.

Why the community needs us
By removing unwanted cats, we prevent the birth of hundreds of unwanted cats who would otherwise be destined to live short lives and become a nuisance by fighting, breeding, messing and invading homes and gardens. We turn these unwanted cats into much loved companions who live with families, bringing joy and love. Sometimes a cat provides a reason to get up each morning. And for children the benefits of growing up with a companion animal are enormous - teaching compassion and love.

Our impact on the community
We rescue around 1000 cats a year and the majority end up in loving homes. This not only removes unwanted cats from the streets and gardens they occupy, but it gives pleasure to the people they end up with. We provide a service to the community both for people who love cats and for those who don't.
