I have taken the plunge!
After some years in the safe 5km/10km zone, I am striding out into half marathon territory! My only other recent sporting achievement is coming 17th in the 40+ category of the 2018 World Laser Run Championships. I am determined to use this Marathon as a spring board for this year’s training and competition, but also and most importantly to raise money.
Please make my efforts worthwhile, by supporting my fundraising for this great cause, the Bath Area Play Project http://www.bapp.org.uk .They provide inclusive play opportunities for children & young people:
"Every child has the right to play and we do this across Bath through provision of direct services such as Holiday Playschemes, Community Play Rangers and youth provision as well as support for families with children who are play deprived or are socially isolated."
In recent years smaller charities have found their funding squeezed, while demand for their services has increased. Please support me if you can, every pound counts.
Good luck, I want a refund if you wimp out though 😜
Smash it Simon!
Good luck Simon.
So proud of you!
