This year I will be making some Christmas cross-stitch cards that you can “buy”. I will give 100% of the money donated to Cardiff Foodbank, which is part of The Trussell Trust Charity.
1 in 5 people in the UK live below the poverty line and with the events of this year, more and more families are being forced into and locked in to poverty. Food is a basic human right, yet over 15,000 emergency food parcels have been given out to families in Cardiff this year alone.
The Trussell Trust not only provide the immediate support needed to families in crisis, they also campaign to fight the injustices in our society that mean foodbanks need to exist. Thank you for making a donation and supporting this cause at Christmas!
