About

This month Charity@Chubb is raising funds for SERV Blood Bikers.
Our Chubb colleague that proposed SERV Blood Bikers is a keen motorcyclist, and his local motorcycle group has many members that are volunteers for this vital service to the British public.

The SERV Blood Bikers are a UK registered charity.  They provide a free, rapid and reliable means of transporting emergency blood products, X-rays, patient notes, time-critical laboratory samples, donated breast milk for premature babies and test results to hospitals and medical facilities at night, weekends and on national holidays.  They are on call 365 days a year.  The service receives no government funding and is offered free to the NHS and Air Ambulance Service. All riders give their time freely as volunteers. Escalating petrol prices and the last few ‘COVID’ years have had a big impact on their funding.SERV will use the Chubb funding to support their dedicated vehicles – fuel, insurance, servicing.Did you know that 1 in 10 hospital patients requires blood!
