About : Lewes to London - a Roman Road walk
A Roman Road runs 45 miles from Lewes to Peckham, passing by Gorne Wood in Honor Oak/Crofton Park. The region was all once part of the Great North Wood and this small remaining area by the railway was for a century an important part of a green corridor and a local amenity. It is threatened with development and Fourth Reserve, which manages the next section of the green corridor, is leading an initiative to acquire the land and preserve it for the community. I’m walking the Roman Road in support. Please support me!
