About

I started running at the Great Run Solo at the beginning of March with a view to raise some money for International Women's Day on the 8th March.

THE CHALLENGECOMPLETE 15 RUNS IN MARCHComplete 15 runs (or more) of any distance and at any pace that is comfortable for you. It’s a challenge to celebrate all the female runners out there, but it’s also a challenge open to everyone to enjoy.  No matter where you live or your gender, join the challenge and be part of an inclusive running community.  Run As One!

With the current climate filled with fear and injustice after the murder of Sarah Everand I have now decided to donate in pounds whatever amount of km's I complete by the end of March to Women's Aid Leeds.

I do this from a place of anger, frustration and helplessness for all women who suffer violence at home and feel afraid simply walking in their local areas. I hope to transform those feelings into collective hope, solidarity and offer my support to these local services.
