SSgt Jordy Clifton, Sgt Liam Aschettino, Cpl Dean Marnell, Cpl Ruaidhri Bird and Spr Zyon Blake, all members from 51 Parachute Squadron, of 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment based in Woodbridge, Suffolk will be attempting to complete 2 Full Marathons (52.4 miles/84.3km) within a time limit 23 hours, whilst carrying 16kg.
The route for this event will be going around Rock Barracks Regimental Parade square (228 times).
This huge effort will be in aid of supporting Find Ipswich (Families in need). A fantastic charity which donate food parcels and basic essentials to families in desperate need. They also help rough sleepers and provide basic household and furniture items.
We understand this is a difficult time for us all but please donate anything you can, all your donations will will help keep families fed plus much much more.
