Kingston Women’s Centre is a long standing charity run by women for women. Since 1982, the charity has supported thousands of women with their mental well-being through it’s low cost counselling service.
The charity’s aim is to provide counselling for women of all backgrounds within the local community within a safe, non-judgemental and caring environment.
Between us we are taking part on a number of events in 2021 to raise money for the charity’s garage conversion project. This will be creating more therapeutic safe spaces, for social prescribing projects that will help women to combat isolation and loneliness.
- Bristol Epic 10k - In July we will both be taking on this event at Ashton Court Estate. This event will be a challenge for Holly, who is currently training to run 10km and is also used to running on flat.
- Brecon Beacons Trail Running Challenge 25km - Ryan will be taking on this challenge by himself in May.
- Snowdonia Trail Running Challenge Marathon - Ryan is also planning on signing up for this marathon, which will take place September/October. Holly will be part of the support team :)
