UM London Impact Day 2020

At UM, we believe in using the influence we have as an agency to be a force for good in society. This Better World promise takes many shapes – from our stereotype-busting research, UK by UM, to time spent with upcoming talent at City University and Brixton Finishing School. Every year, we also take part in a global Impact Day, where every UM colleague around the world puts their out of office on for the day and channels their energy into making a difference to a charitable project. While we can’t all be together this year, we’ll still be undertaking charitable projects in our communities. 

This year we will be looking to raise money for our local charity FCV Dorcas. FCV Dorcas – or, Finsbury and Clerkenwell Volunteers – are an amazing charity who support elderly people in the N1 and EC1 postcodes by doing home visits and befriending. The last months have been a sample of that same isolation that these people face every day – people who in many cases don’t have anyone at all to visit them, and would easily go many days, or longer, without seeing another person without their befriending.
