On October 7th, I am taking part in Barry Ashworth's Flying Circus event, where I will be doing my first ever Wingwalk, raising funds for Tonic Music for Mental Health.
I am extremely excited but equally feeling quite taken aback too, but I am willing to overcome my fear to raise funds for this amazing charity, which helps people overcome mental difficulties through the healing power of music. I also want to raise awareness to the importance of organisations like Tonic, that exist to help vulnerable people.
Mental health affects everybody at some point. In my opinion it is the most important issue that needs the most support. Without a healthy state of mind, life becomes impossible. I am proud that I will be doing the wing walk and doing my small part to help.
My beautiful younger brother sadly passed away just over 2 years ago. He was only 25. I will be thinking of him whilst I am in the air, picturing his mesmorising smile. I'm sure he will be flying with me in spirit.
I will be so eternally grateful for all donations raised and I thank you deeply in advance.
