Support Yorkshire Active as We Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks for The Principle Trust Children's Charity!
On 5th July 2025, 25 members of Yorkshire Active will take on Yorkshire’s most iconic challenge, the Yorkshire Three Peaks. This grueling 24-mile hike will see us conquer Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, tackling 1,585m (5,200ft) of ascent in one day!
For many of us, this will be our toughest challenge yet. But Yorkshire Active is more than just a walking group, we’re a community. We’ve built friendships through our love of the outdoors, supporting both our physical and mental well-being by escaping into nature, away from daily stresses.
We’re incredibly proud to be taking on this challenge in support of The Principle Trust Children's Charity. This amazing Yorkshire-based charity provides week-long respite holidays for disadvantaged, underprivileged, and disabled children. These breaks offer relief from daily struggles, improve mental health, strengthen family bonds, and create lasting, happy memories for children facing poverty, trauma, or disabilities.
This amount will provide five families with a life-changing week of respite and joy, giving them a chance to escape their challenges and make precious memories together.
Please donate and help us make a difference!
Every pound you give brings us closer to transforming the lives of Yorkshire's most vulnerable children, helping them make memories that last.
