3 Peak Trek In Support of Calderdale SmartMove
We are about to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on October the 7th for the worthy cause - Calderdale SmartMove. Any donation you are able to give will be gratefully received. All the team have been working from home so many have not moved further than kitchen to desk in 18 months. The thought for some, walking for 12 hours, across marathon distance and climbing 700m multiple times, where failure is known to be 25%, is truly petrifying but we are all up for the challenge. SmartMove although very small, is achieving great things with limited donations. They help anyone and everyone in Calderdale to get back on their feet, from help with re-homing, to running a foodbank, to training in all types of skills such as money management and safety in the home. SmartMoves ultimate aim is to empower people to be able to live independently. In return for any donation however large or small we promise we will dig deep and give our all!

Training is going well for all, with many completing at least 1 of the peaks as practise runs. The majority of the team took part in a 17 mile trek across Calderdale on 14th.
