I have (somewhat ambitiously) signed up to run the 26.2 mile Wales Marathon on Sunday 7th July 2019 to raise money for the mental health charity Womankind Bristol. This amazing organisation provides a helpline, therapy and a befriending service to support women experiencing mental health issues; many of whom have suffered trauma and abuse. In a society that increasingly fails to support its most vulnerable, organisations like Womankind are more important than ever.
On a more personal level, this is a cause very close to my heart. If you'd like to read about my journey with mental health, you can do so at https://mybraindiaries.wordpress.com/.
Any donation you can make will be hugely appreciated. In return I promise to keep you updated on my (most definitely painful) training journey and to beat Mo Farah's PB (or at least finish without dying).
Well dun u

Thank you so much for all of your donations! I completed the (unbelievably hilly) Wales Marathon yesterday in 4 hours 50 mins, and am very proud of my little legs for getting me through!
