He'll be taking on the three peaks on Saturday 9th July 2022 raising money for AWARE, a local parent-run group supporting families with children and young adults on the autistic spectrum (formal diagnosis not required). Members include families and supporters, as well as health, education and social care professionals. AWARE helps families through the maze of local services which cross health, social care and education boundaries. Advising them about accessing appropriate support from statutory, voluntary and private services, helping them to maximise their skills and achieve their full potential as an adult. In addition, AWARE run a whole range of events and activities for children, young people, parents and carers, from regular parent and carer meetings to activities arrange for the children and young people that are fun with no judgement and pressure to conform.
