Conductive Education Bristol Skydive team!
Natalie, Karen and Hayley are skydiving in aid of Conductive Education Bristol to help children like Finn. Finn attends Conductive Education Bristol's weekly parent and child sessions. Finn is four years old; he has a great sense of humour and he enjoys riding his bike and playing games with his friends and his brother. Finn also has Cerebral Palsy which affects all of his muscles and so all of his physical movements. Affecting his gross and fine motor skills; affecting his ability to move around by himself, sit up by himself and maintain his grasp on toys and cutlery. It also makes chewing, swallowing and speaking difficult for him. Finns great sense of humour and determination during Conductive Education sessions has enabled him to develop his skills and give him the confidence to try at every task and opportunity presented to him; which will stand him in great stead in his life. So far Finn has learnt to keep his sitting on the floor by himself for short lengths of time, roll over, move his legs separately, kneel up with support and helps to feed himself his lunch. As staff working for Conductive Education Bristol Karen and Natalie both know first hand the difference that Conductive Education Bristol makes to children like Finn with neurological movement disorders and their families across; Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, Somerset and South Wales, They decided to join with the third team member Hayley to take part in the Guinness World record attempt at Dunkeswell airfield (for the most tandem skydives from the ULTIMATE height 15000 Feet above the sea level!!) to help fundraise vital funds to enable services to continue. Hayley enjoys flying and extreme sports and decided to use her love of extreme sport to support and raise vital funds for a charitable organisation in her local community. Please sponsor Natalie, Karen and Hayley to support Finn and every other child and family who accesses Conductive Education Bristols FREE services.
