Thank you for visiting my fundraising page - Yes, it would appear that I have finally gone mad! I’ve taken on the challenge to abseil down the north side of County Hall, Aylesbury on 7th September 2013. In other words, walking backwards down the 200ft building where I work using only a rope, eek! I'm not only doing this because I thought it would be a great challenge but to raise funds for a local charity, Youth Bank.
Youth Bank gives grants to groups of young people or individuals aged 13-19 in Buckinghamshire.
Through the Youth Bank young people aged 13-19 can receive funding for new or existing projects that benefit their youth group or organisation, and ultimately the community around them. Grants can also be made to support individual young people for training that will benefit other young people and their local community. The funding could go towards a variety of things including building relationships between groups of young people from different ethnic communities, drug awareness projects and community safety projects.
All sponsorship raised will go to Youth Bank to support these very worthwhile youth projects across Buckinghamshire.
I would be delighted if you wished to sponsor me to brave the 200ft drop and any donation would very much appreciated. (Remember you can gift aid it if you are a UK taxpayer)
Thank you
