After a bloated Christmas I've decided that to avoid the onslaught of the Dad Bod I had best do some exercise, and what better way than to put it off for 6 months.
In June of this year I will therefore be doing the 'Sprint' version of the Windsor Royal Triathlon, which is a kind way of saying it's a bit shorter than the full event. I'll be attempting to swim (or sink) 750m, cycle 20km, and run 5km - all back-to-back, dressed in what can only be described as a lycra sweater-vest-with-shorts-attached.
I'm putting myself through this to raise money for a brilliant charity called The Reasons Why Foundation. They do incredible work helping ex-offenders to integrate back into society, and building relationships with them.
Please do check them out, and if you can, chip in and let's see if we can make a difference for such a great charity (and my waistline).
Thanks loads,
Chris

If you want to follow my training, I'll be putting stuff up on Strava - so if you want to enjoy watching a man struggle then this could be your bag. Search for Chris Brees on there.
