On 18th April, just 6 weeks from now, with little to no training, I am taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in order to raise money for Pendle Dogs in Need, a local animal charity that relies solely on the generosity of our pet loving community.
To make it that bit more challenging, I will be carrying 20kg weight and aim to complete the walk in under 10 hours!!! I want to challenge myself and also want to demonstrate how strongly I feel about the importance of protecting and caring for the animals in our area. If I could, I would love to save them all so it's my hope that by doing this, you will all help me achieve at least a generous donation and that it will have a knock on effect to inspire others to do the same.
Even the smallest donation could collectively make a big difference to many dogs which is what this is all about!
Here's a few facts for you all:
A £5 donation would pay for ....
For the price of a couple of drinks in the pub, a £10 donation could ....
A £20 donation, your Friday night takeaway, would give ....
A very generous £50 donation would enable ....
A whopping £100 donation would give ....
I am very excited about taking on this massive challenge, thanks in advance for all of your support!
