On Saturday 20th January 2018, I will be doing sponsored cycle ride for Nottingham Playhouse’s SHINE appeal. Twenty five years ago, I had a brain haemorrhage which resulted in a speech and language disability (aphasia), a blind spot, and paralysis down my right side. I did at first struggle and I was becoming less mobile. But, six years ago a friend gave me an exercise bike. Since then, on the anniversary of my haemorrhage, rather than feeling sad, I’ve done an exercise bike ride to raise money for charity. This year, I have once again chosen to cycle to raise much needed funds for Nottingham Playhouse’s SHINE appeal to create free community youth theatres across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This is a very important project as it makes sure that children from all across the city and county can take part in theatre and live a creative life, many of who wouldn’t be able to take part if it wasn’t for SHINE. They are currently running eight youth theatres in areas such as Bulwell, Mansfield and the Queen’s Medical Centre. If you’d like to support me please donate now. I do hope you will be able help me support SHINE. Thank you.
Thanks for doing this! Adam
