About

Andy, Bill, Steve & I retired in 2016 & are walking the South West Coastal Path - 629 & 3/4 miles. No mean feet as we have a combined age of 246 & some medical conditions - heart op (Andy); cancer op (Bill); I could do with a brain transplant; Steve pulled a fetlock running across Sweden. We started in Minehead May 2017 & are up to 314 miles, recently completing to Penzance to Porthoustock. We start phase 9 (Porthoustock to Portholland) on 17 June 2019 which takes us past the 315 mile halfway point (APPARENTLY WE ARE ONE MILE SHORT!) and up to 350 of the 629 3/4 mile total. We aim to finish in Poole Harbour in March 2021 (it's difficult to get diary space for 4 busy retirees!) and are walking for the Life Project Bath (http://www.lifeprojectbath.org.uk/) whose goals are to provide homes for life & meaningful occupation for people with Learning Disabilities (LD) in the BANES area, helping secure the future for our daughter Siobhan who has LD & autism, along with the other wonderful people in her peer group.
