Donning the Lycra for rugby and charity
Milton Keynes RFC is a community rugby club that serves one of Britains newest cities. Each week an army of volunteers open the doors to players from 6-60 ensuring that Rugby and its core values are represented with a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment.
In addition to this, the club has a strong charitable focus supporting Willen Hospice and the 4Ed Motor Neurone disease charity. Ed Slater had a glittering career as a professional rugby player but his journey started as an MKRUFC player, something we are very proud of. In May I will be donning the Lycra, dusting off the bike and taking part in our club and charitable fundraiser cycling 250 miles around Norfolk with the incredible “Ring of fire” team. Sport and charitable funding is under pressure…If you can support me I would be hugely grateful… Thank you
Paul - word is that Norfolk has never seen such lumpy Lycra!
