I'm running the 2019 Bath Half Marathon in support of Off the Record. OTR is a charity supporting young people struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief and identity crises as well as at difficult times in their lives like family breakups, exam struggles and bullying at school. They are the only charity in the Bath and North East Somerset area that offers a free, confidential, self-referral service and therefore provide a much needed lifeline for young people to transform their lives.
Given that 70% of young people who experience a mental health problem have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age, the importance of the work being done by OTR is obvious.
