Sometimes you can walk into a room and feel the warmth and friendship. That's the Big Red Bus Club based in Charlton Park whose main purpose is to provide a regular stay and play for families with children under five. The Charity also has projects support disabled children and their families, distributes surplus food and challenges isolation through volunteering and events. But it is more than the sum of its parts at the Big Red Bus Club, children take their first steps, make their first friendships and develop the personalities that will shape theough to their adult lives. The parents have a chance to meet, relax and just enjoy being a parent. It's almost impossible to measure the value of the Big Red Bus Club because the price of friendships have infinite value. So dig deep- because friendships are priceless but for everything else we need paper money. The Ferry Good Bike Ride will take place on Saturday 30th September starting and finishing at the Big Red Bus Club. Heading out over the historic Woolwich Ferry, taking in the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest and returning via the jewel of Essex at Tilbury Fort and the modern wonder of Gravesend Ferry and the. home to Charlton.
