I have been a keen runner since my early 20's, I completed the London Marathon in 1997 and since then have completed 8 other marathons.
In the past I have fundraised for numerous charities in memory of my mum and dad, which alongside being very emotional also gave me huge satisfaction.
Since July 2020 I have been part of the Paul Popham running club. I have met and been inspired by some wonderful people and would love to make my own contribution, through running in the Florence Marathon on Nov 28th 2021 for the Paul Popham fund, renal support Wales, which aims to support kidney patients in South Wales lead a better quality of life.

About Florence Marathon, Italy
The Florence Marathon is an annual full-length marathon race, held in late November in Florence, Italy, since 1984. It is the second largest Italian Marathon.
