Dan and Claire tackle the Gladstone 9!
Famed for their expanse of open uplands, the Carneddau are less well known for their prehistoric landscapes, many ancient monuments, rare plants and animals and the Carneddau's own semi-wild breed of mountain ponies. The Snowdonia Society is playing its part in a large-scale project, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund and due to start later this year, to protect, share and celebrate this rich and under-appreciated heritage. Keep an eye on our website for more information.
Established in 1967, the Snowdonia Society is the conservation charity that works hard to protect and enhance the beauty of the National Park. Our volunteers clear litter, repair footpaths, control invasive species and manage habitats for wildlife and every year we help more people to enjoy and protect Snowdonia.
Please show your support for Dan and Claire by sponsoring their heroic efforts and helping to protect Snowdonia!
Very impressed before you've even done it!
