On Thursday 14th April, members of Imara, Tamsin, Janette, Cath, Kathy and Sabina will embark on a perilous and adrenaline fueled journey of six metres. But not just any old six metres! We will be walking six metres on hot coals burning at 1236 degrees fahrenheit! (Remember aluminium melts at 1100 degrees!) Gulp! We are not crazy, we just love Imara and would like your donations for this wonderful cause. Imara supports young children and their families after a disclosure of sexual abuse. We are a non-governmental organisation relying solely on grants, bids and donations. Along with your donations we would welcome your support in cheering us on! There'll be cake stalls, a food kiosk selling hot and cold food, a bar and a raffle. DJ Jackson will be spinning the hottest tunes around (pardon the pun!) and of course the main event, the Firewalk! Please find below a rough programme for the night: 18.00 Registration and Arrivals 18.30 Training begins for the Firewalkers 19:30 Spectators Arrive 20.00 The fire is lit ! 20.30 Firewalk 20.50 Debrief and certificates 21.00 Celebration time! So sad I couldn't make it!!
