James and Ffi's TAVs fundraiser

The TAVS Centre is a community hub based centrally in Cardiff and does lots of important work in the local area for those in need. It is part of the social action charity for Glenwood Church, and we started supporting their work through our own church (Woodville Baptist) in 2018. The aim of TAVS is to engage, support and empower people in Cardiff addressing issues arising from homelessness, addiction, mental health and isolation.

Currently we support the TAVs Food Co-operative, a service where people join as members and pay a small fee each week in return for a good selection of food at a discounted price. TAVs receives food from various local organisations and providers, a lot of which would otherwise go to waste from supermarkets. It gives members more ownership over what food they buy whilst also providing food for people who really need it. 

The TAVs Centre also gives out hot meals, puts on music and art classes, and provides clothing and washing facilities. 

It would be wonderful if you wanted to give financially to TAVs - any donations would go a long way in helping with the upkeep of the building and delivering the services that can be a lifeline for so many people in Cardiff.
