Jason is running Brecon Ultra Marathon!

I'm Jason and I love running and cycling - often! I run several marathons a year, along with various cycling events. I have completed many triathlons and one Iron Man. I want to put the energy and motivation I have for these activities towards something useful that will benefit other people, as well as me! St Madoc Centre, or Llanmadoc Camp as we used to call it when I was young, is a lovely site set on the beautiful North Gower coastline. It is a fabulous context for enjoying the natural environment, for peaceful walking, running up and down sand dunes or swimming in the tide. For many years it has been dedicated to providing children and young people with a relaxing holiday in the countryside, where they can escape from whatever life at home may mean for them. I would love to be able to use the hobby that I enjoy so much and gain so many benefits from, for my own health and wellbeing, to benefit disadvantaged children who would otherwise miss out on the important opportunity of having a fun holiday by the sea, with all its related benefits for their healthy development. Please sponsor me and your money will go directly to help St Madoc Camp provide for the physical, emotional, educational and social needs of children and young people, and provide subsidised places for those who would otherwise not be able to afford to stay with their friends. Although this next Ultra Marathon (46 miles off road - up and down the Brecon hills / mountains) is very soon, don't worry about the date as you can continue to sponsor me after the event.
