Jude's 5k Lobster Lollop

On 20th November I shall be putting my best foot forward and attempting to run 5k along the Camel Trail, starting at the Padstow Lobster Hatchery, to support St Petrocs, a charity working to end homelessness in Cornwall.


St Petrocs was founded over 35 years ago on the principle that everyone should have a place to call home, where they would be safe, secure and able to contribute to their community. They provide accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to people experiencing homelessness.


At this time of year St Petrocs are preparing for the start of Winter Services which will begin for two months in December, longer if the weather necessitates. As last year, the staff and volunteers will work with those who would otherwise find themselves on the streets by using self-contained accommodation while working hard to find them long term secure accommodation.
