About
About the Fabric masks

I have made some Fabric Face Coverings (FFCs) to order to raise funds for Express CIC. They are £8 each and the money raised goes to local charity Express CIC who helps families touched by autism. If you are interested in ordering more please see my instagram (@two4joy.luck) or email me.

The FFCs (non-medical-grade face masks) are a double layer of cotton-rich fabric with an inner pocket for you to add your own optional disposable filter layer (coffee filter or kitchen roll). They are pleated and have a wire across the nose area. They do up with jersey yarn around the ears to the length you feel is most comfortable. They are fully washable at 60 degrees centigrade, as it is recommended that you wash them after each wearing.

About the Charity appeal
The anxiety of coronavirus and the changes in routine and way of life is challenging for everyone but particularly for the autistic children and young people we support. Express CIC wants to offer online therapy sessions so that they can safely express their anxiety and be supported through this difficult time.

How the funding will be spent
The funding will enable Express CIC to offer online sessions for young people with a qualified therapist. The sessions help young people feel connected to the outside world and offer a space to explore some ways to manage the worries we are all currently faced with. The funding will also help with our ongoing and increasing costs of providing our support and services for autistic children, young people and their families.

About Fabric face coverings (non-medical grade masks)

I am fund raising for Express CIC to help them in their wonderful work supporting families who are touched by autism. They are running counselling sessions for young people to help them cope with the difficult COVID-19 time which has meant a lot of change and anxiety.
