Round Brownsea in aid of a Round Paddling Pool

The Friends of Hamworthy Park are fundraising in aid of the paddling pool which has been there for eternity (well I remember playing in it as a child)! It is currently funded by the council however there is uncertainty about this funding stream and we are obviously keen to ensure its future presence. In my ultimate wisdom, I have entered the Brownsea Swim again this year, and whilst it has taken me 2 years to swim the entire island previously (front half the first year, second half the back), I am attempting to do 'the full monty' in one go on Sunday 23rd July 2017. I was going to calculate how many times around the paddling pool Brownsea Island would equate to but scared myself at the thought......
