Kel & Effie do the 2017 8.5mile FUN RUN!!
Each year I undertake a challenge to raise money for Our Place Community Hub and Mentoring Scheme of which I am Founder and Manager. The work we do supports many people in the community on issues that cause them to become 'stuck' on their life journey for some reason. The services we offer include mentoring for those with social, emotional or mental health challenges, employment support for job seekers and advice services offering fortnightly professional advice on benefits, legal issues and support for carers. Last year Effie at aged 6 joined me in fundraising and we took part in the Fun Run together. This year we will be doing it all over again but have set the bar high!!!! We want to raise £300 together which will provide 3 months of mentoring support for a child needing support. So please dig deep and sponsor what you can....8.5mikes is a long way!
