Hello, my name is Lori and I am abseiling down County Hall in Aylesbury! Why you ask? Well, it all started as a bit of joke really. My partner saw the advert and said I'd be too much of a chicken to do it... Next thing I know I had signed up!! Now it is getting closer to the date, it is fair to say I am tad nervous!! I am also doing it to prove to myself I can do it! When I was at little school, I chickened out of doing the abseil on an adventure holiday... Lets hope that doesn't happen again!
I am abseiling in aid of Youth Bank.
Bucks Youth Bank is a grant-making panel for young people's projects that benefit the community. There are 2 panels, one in Aylesbury and one in Wycombe.
They give grants to local groups of young people or individuals aged 13-19. Funding can be for new projects the young people want to start or existing projects they want to develop.
Thank you in advance for all donations. I hope to see a lot of you there cheering me on and I will see you all in the pub after for a large drink!
