I am abseiling down County Hall, Aylesbury on the 7th of September to help raise funds for Bucks Youth Bank. As some of you may know I have worked at County Hall for 11 years in September so this is a very exciting challenge for me. The drop is 200ft and County Hall being an iconic (if somewhat ugly) building, is the tallest building in our lovely town of Aylesbury.
Bucks Youth Bank is a grant-making panel for young people's projects that benefit the community. There are 2 panels, one in Aylesbury and one in Wycombe. They give grants to local groups of young people or individuals aged 13-19. Funding can be for new projects the young people want to start or existing projects they want to develop. Funded projects include: dance, drama, music workshops, community safety, volunteering, drugs awareness, independent living, special music events.
Every little helps so I appreciate any money you can donate to this great cause.
