Marple Carnival Skatepark Marathon Jam

We're inviting Marple Skatepark Users to raise funds for Marple Skatepark Development Project by taking part in a Skatepark Marathon during Marple Carnival on Saturday 18 June. All you need to do is raise as much sponsorship from family and friends as you can before, during and after the event and come along on the day and ride the Skatepark for as long as you can between 11am and 3pm. The event is open to skateboarders, in-line skaters, BMX riders and Scooter users. Fancy Dress is optional - the Carnival theme is "Bringing Rio to Marple" and you can follow this or choose your own theme. You can create your own fund-raiser page like this one to support Friends of Marple Memorial Park, or you can donate your sponsorship through this page. You will need help from an adult with a credit or debit card to donate the money you've raised on-line. You can also take the money to the RBS on Market Street and pay it direct into the Friends of the Park bank account (10095922). Alternatively you can pass your sponsorship to Friends of the Park and we'll give you a receipt.
