In March 2023, we will spend 4 days trekking through the worlds biggest desert in aid of AGE UK PLYMOUTH.
After leaving Marrakech we travel to Ouarzazate and will spend four days trekking and sleeping under the stars. Walking terrain of hard, flat sun-dried plains, dried up ancient river beds, wide sandy dune fields and hard rocky outcrops. Temperatures tend to range from 25°C to 35°C during the day, and drop to around 0°C at night, the climate will be arid with strong desert winds.
AGE UK PLYMOUTH are a local charity working in the community to support over 50s, those living with dementia and carers - committed to making Plymouth a city where people Love Later Life.
