I am raising money for Apollo Music Projects, (a local charity that brings live classical music to children who might not otherwise experience it) and for the Angel Orchestra (in which I play second violin).
We will be walking on Sunday 25th September between several sites in central London, each with a blue plaque commemorating a famous composer or musician, ranging from Mozart and Handel to Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have not been able to perform regularly and hold fund-raising events on which the orchestra depends, or to support our chosen charity, Apollo Music Projects, which does such great work introducing youngsters to classic music for the first time.
Please give generously to support live classical music and inspire the next generation of musicians!
