Hi,
My name is Ollie and I'm running the 2022 Great North Run for Magic Moments, which is a charity that helps and supports children on the autism spectrum and their families too.
This is my fifth year of raising money for this amazing charity by doing the GNR, and it'll be an honour to do it again. What will inspire me this year is running in memory of Jay Harper, who twice ran GNR for Magic Moments but who tragically passed away towards the end of last year. He was a kind, caring and heartfelt person who spread happiness to so many others - this will be for you Jay.
Being able to make some kind of a difference, and knowing that every single penny raised will go towards turning children's dreams into a reality, will also inspire me and what will make it all worthwhile.
It doesn't matter how "big" or how "little" it may be, any donation really will have such an impact and would be greatly appreciated not just by myself but by the amazing people at the charity too.
