On Sunday 9th October I will be running the Manchester half marathon in aid of the Riff Raff society. I have been what some might call medically restricted for years struggling with a whole array of injuries but I have been recently inspired by the acts of kindness dished out by great local charity to put my own minor ailments (Shoulder, back etc etc) into context and get out of my comfort zone and do a bit for others facing hardship.
The Society has funding application in from the family of Gary adshead (Old Trafford) who tragically passed away last week (Mid Sept 22) after being diagnosed with rectal cancer just 4 weeks previously. Gary and his partner had six kids and the family simply can’t afford to give him the send off that he and his family deserves.
Many Many thanks if you could spare a few quid this will go direct to this family that are in a real place of need.
I would really appreciate your support
Cheers
